NECO Announces 2024 Exam Results: Over 60% of Students Pass with Five Credits Including English and Math
National Examinations Council (NECO) has officially released the results for the June/July 2024 Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE). According to the announcement, 60.55% of candidates achieved five credits or more, including the crucial subjects of English Language and Mathematics.
This marks a significant performance by students, with a majority of candidates meeting the standard requirements for higher education in Nigeria. The results demonstrate the efforts of students and teachers alike, while also reflecting the importance of continued improvements in the education sector.
NECO, which conducts examinations across the country, plays a key role in assessing students’ readiness for the next steps in their academic journey. This year’s results are expected to encourage more students to strive for excellence in their studies.
For candidates who have yet to check their results, NECO has made them accessible via the official portal, where students can confirm their performance.
With such a promising result, the education sector continues to move in the right direction, fostering more opportunities for Nigerian students to achieve success.
