Breaking: Governor Okpebholo Halts Consultancy Services Across Edo State

In the official statement, Ikhilor explained that a Review Committee had been set up to assess the situation and report back to the governor. As a result, all ministries, departments, and agencies are instructed to comply with the suspension.
The statement also addressed concerns regarding the ongoing collection of revenue by unauthorized agents. It emphasized that only licensed and statutory revenue collectors are permitted to operate in the state, particularly in commercial areas like motor parks. The public was warned to report any unlicensed individuals to the police, with a stern reminder that the government would take swift legal action against those engaging in or sponsoring such unlawful activities.
Okpebholo’s administration is committed to tackling these issues to ensure the security and well-being of Edo State citizens.
