According to the 2025 Appropriation Bill, which was presented to the National Assembly, the maintenance of the Presidential Villa will require an annual budget of ₦5.49 billion.

In addition, ₦765 million is designated for the renovation of the Vice President’s official residence and guest house. Meanwhile, the State House refurbishment, including the President’s quarters, is projected to cost ₦6.39 million. A further ₦49 million is earmarked for the renovation of various facilities, including security quarters, the presidential auditorium, gymnasium, and aides’ accommodations.

Also included in the budget are ₦51 million for upgrading Prescott Barracks and other key buildings in Asokoro, Abuja.

The budget reveals that President Tinubu and Vice President Shettima will each receive ₦87 million for honorarium and sitting allowances, while ₦127 million has been allocated for the procurement of new SUVs. The State House will also acquire operational vehicles worth ₦3.66 billion, with ₦1.09 billion set aside for replacing SUVs.

Further provisions include ₦14.72 million for the routine maintenance of the State House Lagos Liaison Office and ₦140.1 million to complete renovations at the Dodan Barracks annex in Lagos.

In another move, the Federal Government plans to invest ₦1.83 billion in converting properties seized by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) into residential quarters for State House officials. This comes shortly after the EFCC recovered a vast estate in the Lokogoma District of Abuja, a monumental asset valued as the largest since the agency’s inception.
