Content creator and actress Bukunmi Adeaga-Ilori, better known as Kiekie, has revealed that brand values and personal image play a major role in determining the people she chooses to collaborate with in the entertainment industry.

According to Ireporter Online, Kiekie made the disclosure during a recent podcast interview, where she discussed the factors she considers before working with other content creators.

The popular skit maker explained that she avoids collaborations with creators whose content does not align with her brand identity, particularly those whose materials she considers overly vulgar or inappropriate.

“I would never collaborate with any skit maker who is too vulgar. I will not be able to collaborate with them,” she said.

Kiekie clarified that her decision is not based on disrespect or criticism of other creators but rather on maintaining consistency with the values associated with her personal brand and corporate partnerships.

While responding to questions about whether she had specific creators in mind, the actress said she was not referring to anyone in particular. However, she noted that she had come across content creators whose works focus heavily on suggestive themes and physical displays.

She stressed that she has no personal issue with such styles of content creation but explained that they do not match the direction of her own brand.

Kiekie added that she appreciates the efforts and creativity of fellow entertainers, noting that every creator has their own approach and audience. However, she maintained that collaborations must be built around shared values and compatible brand identities.

“My inability to collaborate with you doesn’t mean that I look down on what you do or I don’t respect your work. I recognise your hard work, but we just don’t align,” she said.

The actress further explained that working with creators whose image conflicts with hers could affect how her audience and brand partners perceive her work, making brand alignment an important factor in her professional decisions.
