In a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Sir Tersoo Kula, the governor expressed his deep sorrow over the incident and condemned the relentless violence faced by unarmed citizens from ruthless attackers.

“Despite my administration’s efforts to ensure the safety of our people, these atrocities continue,” Alia stated. “I assure you, those responsible will face severe consequences. They may believe they can operate in secrecy, but we will not allow this to persist. It’s only a matter of time before they are held accountable.”

The governor urged security forces to enhance their surveillance and ensure that vulnerable communities receive adequate protection. He extended his condolences to the families of the victims and offered prayers for the injured during this challenging time.
