Meanwhile, Emir Muhammadu Sanusi II expressed gratitude to Governor Yusuf and the state House of Assembly for reinstating him as Emir. Sanusi commended the government’s achievements in education, infrastructure, and healthcare, noting that these efforts have significantly improved the quality of life in Kano.

Sanusi urged local government chairmen to enhance their efforts in addressing grassroots needs to ensure that governance benefits extend to the most underserved communities. He also participated in the 1903 traditional Hauwa Nassarawa homage, a significant cultural practice.

Due to security considerations, the Emir opted for a vehicle convoy to the Government House instead of the customary horse procession, choosing alternative routes to ensure safe passage and avoid potential conflicts.
