These appointments follow the recent passing of the council’s longest-serving member, Galadiman Kano Abbas Sanusi. The new appointments are aimed at strengthening leadership within the emirate.

Alhaji Sanusi, who previously served as District Head of Bichi, has gained immense respect for his contributions to community development and traditional governance. His promotion to Galadiman Kano now places him among the top ranks of the Emirate Council.
