According to Ireporter Online, Akindele disclosed that achieving the milestone required her to completely dedicate herself to the project, putting aside personal activities and social engagements to focus on her work.

The filmmaker explained that she sacrificed her social life, stopped attending parties, avoided unnecessary outings, and even neglected some personal routines while working tirelessly to bring the movie to life.

Speaking during an appearance on BellaNaija, Akindele said the film’s impressive ₦2.7 billion earnings came as a result of relentless effort, commitment, and countless hours of hard work.

She noted that she was deeply involved in the project, sacrificing her time, comfort, and personal needs to ensure its success. According to her, the journey involved sleepless nights, missed meals, and giving her full attention to the production.

Akindele stated that her approach to success has always been centred on hard work and total dedication, adding that she had to put many aspects of her personal life on hold during the production process.

She revealed that she only recently had time to relax, focus on self-care, and return to some of her normal routines after the intense work period.

The award-winning filmmaker had earlier shared on Instagram that her journey to achieving the feat was not an overnight success, but the result of continuous learning, prayers, strategic planning, evaluation, and execution.

She emphasized that the achievement was built through persistence, determination, and the willingness to make difficult sacrifices along the way.
