The All Progressives Congress (APC) Youth Wing has declared itself stronger, better organized, and more connected to everyday Nigerians than ever before, as it gears up for the 2027 general elections.

According to Ireporter Online, APC National Youth Leader Israel Dayo, in a bold press briefing in Abuja, dismissed the political strength of supporters of Peter Obi — popularly called “Obidients” — and any other opposition movement, insisting they are no match for the APC youth structure. “We’re not scared of anybody.

We say to them, bring it on. Obidients are no match for us.

The youth of APC are standing gidi-gba — strong, firm, and focused,” he declared, while unveiling a new Youth Resource Centre for party members.

Positioning the youth wing as one of the fastest-growing political structures in the country, Dayo boasted that its infrastructure now rivals that of some opposition parties’ national secretariats.

According to Ireporter Online, the new centre in Abuja features a multimedia station, podcast hub, mini-sports facilities, and data-gathering tools, aimed at deepening youth engagement. “We’re not just talking — we’re building,” he added.

Beyond the political bravado, Dayo emphasized the need to reconnect politics with the people, pledging that the APC youth wing will bridge the gap between policymakers and ordinary Nigerians.

“We may not have the funding right now, but we have the will. And with our new national chairman, who is youth-centric and passionate, we’re hopeful,” he said.

According to Ireporter Online, this renewed confidence is part of a broader ruling party strategy to mobilize young voters, especially after opposition figures drew significant youth support in the 2023 elections.
