“Family Speaks Out: Ned Nwoko’s Brother Breaks Silence On Regina Daniels’ Marital Scandal”
According to reports monitored by Ireporter Online, Michael Nwoko, brother of Nigerian senator and businessman Ned Nwoko, has appealed for calm and privacy as the family deals with the marital issues between the lawmaker and his actress wife, Regina Daniels.
The appeal followed a series of disturbing developments that surfaced on social media, including a viral video showing Regina Daniels in visible distress, claiming she could no longer tolerate alleged violence in her marriage. Her brother, Sammy West, also accused the senator of physically assaulting her.
In response, Senator Nwoko issued a statement through his verified Instagram account, denying any act of violence and alleging instead that his wife’s use of drugs and alcohol had caused tension in their household. He claimed that Regina had recently displayed violent behaviour, allegedly attacking three domestic workers and destroying properties, including vehicles and windows, within two days.
The senator further alleged that efforts to enrol her in rehabilitation programs in Asokoro and abroad were rejected by the actress, insisting that the situation had raised concerns for her safety and that of their child.
However, public reactions have been divided. While some social media users condemned domestic violence in any form, others urged restraint pending clearer details.
Addressing the ongoing controversy, Michael Nwoko took to Instagram to plead with fans and members of the public to respect the family’s privacy and allow the couple to resolve their differences internally. He reassured the public that the situation would be handled discreetly.
In his words: “I respectfully crave the indulgence of all fans and people of goodwill to be calm and continue to demonstrate understanding, as whatever is happening between Distinguished Senator Prince Ned Munir Nwoko and his dear wife, Mrs Regina Daniels Nwoko, is a private family matter. It would be resolved internally. Thank you all, and God bless.”
