Edo Governor Pledges Swift Support For Victims Of Auchi Tanker Fire

Edo State Governor, Monday Okpebholo, has expressed deep concern over the tanker fire that occurred on Wednesday in Auchi, the headquarters of Etsako West Local Government Area, pledging support for the affected victims.

Describing the incident as both painful and unfortunate, Governor Okpebholo noted that it has caused significant grief and distress for families, motorists, and residents of the area. In a statement released by his Chief Press Secretary, Dr. Patrick Ebojele, the governor extended condolences to the Otaru of Auchi, His Royal Highness, Alhaji Aliru Momoh Ikelebe III.

Governor Okpebholo highlighted that the fire serves as a stark reminder of the risks associated with transporting petroleum products on the nation’s highways.
