According to Ireporter Online, the Yobe State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Muhammad Gadaka, has expressed strong confidence in the party’s long-term political dominance, declaring that it is positioned to remain in power in Nigeria for the next century. The statement was made during the 2026 Yobe Leadership and Innovation Summit held in Damaturu, where stakeholders gathered to deliberate on governance and development issues.

Gadaka, who was represented at the event by the State Party Youth Leader, Muhammad Musa Gulani, attributed the party’s projected longevity to its policies and programmes, which he said have laid a solid foundation for shaping Nigeria’s political landscape for decades. He noted that the APC remains focused on sustaining governance across all levels, including federal, state, and local governments, for the foreseeable future.

He further emphasised that the party’s vision is centred on improving the welfare of Nigerians and strengthening national unity, adding that continuity in leadership would be key to achieving meaningful development. Gadaka explained that the party is currently assessing its performance while refining its strategies to ensure tangible impact across various sectors of the economy.

The APC chieftain also called on citizens to maintain trust in the current administration, assuring that ongoing reforms and efforts would eventually translate into positive economic outcomes for all Nigerians. He reiterated the party’s commitment to building a more resilient, united, and prosperous nation driven by sustained leadership and long-term planning.
