Actor Chinedu Ikedieze Bags Chieftaincy Title In Abia State

Actor Chinedu Ikedieze, widely known as “Aki,” has been conferred with a chieftaincy title in the Eluoma Uzuakoli Autonomous Community in Abia State.

According to Ireporter Online, the Nollywood star announced the honour via his Instagram page, where he expressed appreciation to the community for the recognition.

He was formally installed as “Chief Chinedu Ikedieze – MFR, IHIE 1 of Eluoma Uzuakoli Autonomous Community, Abia State,” a title that reflects his contributions and standing within the community.

Ikedieze, a veteran actor best known for his breakout role in the 2002 classic Aki na Ukwa, has remained a prominent figure in the Nigerian film industry for over two decades. In 2010, he was also honoured with the national award of Member of the Federal Republic (MFR) by the Federal Government of Nigeria.

Traditional chieftaincy titles are typically bestowed by communities to recognise individuals who have made notable cultural, social, or developmental contributions.
