According to Ireporter Online, Nigerian striker Rafiu Durosinmi has officially tied the knot with his long-time partner, Praise Nwanegbo, shortly after concluding his involvement with the Super Eagles during the current international window.

The forward reportedly departed the national team camp in Warsaw following Nigeria’s 2-2 draw against Poland in a recent international friendly, where he featured in the match before exiting the squad ahead of further preparations.

Durosinmi had initially been included in the Super Eagles setup for the Unity Cup fixtures in London but remained with the team for the Poland trip after adjustments were made to the squad list due to the withdrawal of key players, including Victor Osimhen and Ademola Lookman.

The striker started the match against Poland, playing the first half and earning his third senior appearance for Nigeria before returning home to attend his wedding ceremony.

His departure meant he did not travel with the rest of the squad to Portugal, where preparations continued for upcoming engagements in the international window.

Durosinmi had been among the new players introduced by head coach Eric Chelle during the Unity Cup in London, where he made his senior debut against Zimbabwe as a second-half substitute in a 2-0 victory for Nigeria.

He later impressed with his performance, earning a starting role in the Unity Cup final against Jamaica, where he partnered captain Terem Moffi in attack as the Super Eagles secured a commanding 3-0 win to retain the title.
