GehGeh Questions Peller-Jarvis Marriage, Insists Money Isn’t Everything
According to Ireporter Online, social media personality Ojaigho Prosper, widely known as GehGeh, has criticised TikTok star Peller following his traditional marriage to his partner, Jarvis.
Peller had on Sunday disclosed that he completed the traditional marriage rites by paying Jarvis’ bride price during a family introduction ceremony. Sharing moments from the event on Instagram, he wrote, “Today, I proudly paid the bride price of the woman I love”.
Reacting on X, GehGeh challenged the widespread belief that financial strength alone qualifies someone for marriage, stressing that emotional, mental, physical, and spiritual preparedness are equally important in making such a lifelong commitment.
“Y’all are justifying his act with ‘he has the money allow him’. But y’all failed to ask yourself if he’s ready mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually,” he wrote, adding that “Everything isn’t all about the money.”
He further expressed disappointment that Peller went ahead with the marriage despite his earlier advice, describing the TikToker as still in a phase of personal growth and questioning his readiness for such responsibility.
“You still growing as a child why get married now eehn.. I tried my possible best to help you but you failed to listen to me.. Peller don go marry Jarvis.. upon all my advice this boy still pour spit for my face,” GehGeh stated.
He also urged supporters of the marriage to reflect on whether they would give similar advice to a younger family member in the same situation.
The development comes shortly after reports that Peller proposed to Jarvis in Ghana, where she accepted his proposal.
