Portable Boasts: “I Have More Hits Than Davido”

According to Ireporter Online, Davido recently stirred reactions among music fans after declaring that he was willing to put up $1 million against any artiste who believed they could match his collection of hit songs.

During an online livestream, Davido maintained that no contemporary Nigerian artiste could boast a better catalogue of hit records than him and challenged anyone who disagreed to prove their claim.

Portable has now taken up the challenge, insisting that his singles and collaborations have produced numerous successful songs.

The singer said he was ready to compete with Davido and argued that his individual releases and songs recorded with other artistes had generated significant hits.

Portable also pointed to his collaborations with prominent artistes as evidence of the strength of his music catalogue, mentioning Nigerian singer Olamide and British rapper Skepta among those who have contributed to his musical journey.

“I am here to challenge Davido, say I get hit songs pass am. My featuring, my single was a hit. I get hit pass Davido,” Portable said.

The outspoken singer rose to mainstream prominence after his collaboration with Olamide and Poco Lee on the hit track “Zazoo Zehh,” which significantly increased his profile within the Nigerian music industry.

Since then, Portable has continued to release music and collaborate with established artistes while frequently making bold claims about his achievements and influence in the industry.
