July 03, (THEWILL) – A political lobby group under the aegis of Plateau Drums Support for Atiku Organisation, has held its inaugural meeting in Jos, expressing satisfaction with the emergence of Atiku Abubakar as the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

In a communiqué signed by a former Secretary to Plateau State Government, who is also interim Secretary of the group, Professor Shedrack Best, the Group promised to work to actualise PDP’s victory and enthrone Atiku Abubakar as President in 2023.
The communiqué also indicated that the Group has also resolved to work in synergy with the PDP as a whole and other Pro-Atiku assemblies, to deliver on the 2023 Atiku Abubakar presidential project.
Convened at the residence of Ambassador Yahaya Kwande, the meeting had in attendance former Speakers of the Plateau State House of Assembly, former members of the House of Representatives, members of the State House of Assembly, party elders, stakeholders and other supporters.

With about 23 members in attendance, apologies for unavoidable absence were received from six consenting members.
