One of the major aspirants for the 2023 presidential election under the platform of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) Prince Adewole Adebayo has said God wants Nigeria to be a place of complete bliss and delight, assuring Nigerians of better leadership experience come 2023.
Adebayo made this known in Kano State last week while delivering a public lecture in honor of late Mal. Aminu Kanu with the theme ‘Politics of Ideology, Mal. Aminu Kano’s Perspective’
The lawyer lauded the lifestyle of the Nigerian hero and noted that without the speeches and works of Aminu Kano, he would not be in politics.
He said the lifestyle of Aminu Kano who was a Muslim politician born at Sudawa, Gwale Local Government and resided at Gwammaja, Dala Local Government, and led a socialist movement in the northern part of the country in opposition to British rule in the 1940s is worthy of emulation, adding that the late great politician’s legacy is hinged on justice.
The Ondo-born presidential aspirant also lectured that its time Nigerians change the narrative of calling people heroes only when they are dead. He called for the continuation of the labors of “our living heroes’ and not just the hero’s past.
The people of Kano state assured the SDP Flagbearer of their support as he wooed them with his Hausa code-mixing style of presentation.
