“Adelabu Rallies APC Members: ‘Let’s Bury Our Differences And Take Back Oyo!’”

According to Ireporter Online, the Minister of Power and 2027 governorship aspirant of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State, Chief Adebayo Adelabu, has emphasized that only a united APC can unseat the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the forthcoming elections.

Adelabu made the call during a consultation visit to party leaders, stakeholders, and members in the Ibarapa region, urging them to put aside personal differences and work collectively towards reclaiming power in 2027. He described Oyo as a progressive state that must return to the progressive fold.

Highlighting the importance of internal cohesion, Adelabu stated that the APC remains the strongest political force in Oyo State and must maintain unity to achieve electoral success. The Ibarapa zone, which comprises Eruwa, Lanlate, Igboora, Idere, Ayete, Tapa, and Igangan, played host to the Minister during his grassroots engagement.

Addressing concerns raised by party members, Adelabu assured residents of improved power supply in the region, disclosing that his ministry had secured funding for the completion of three substations in Ibarapa. He revealed that construction work would commence within a week, adding that he had already provided solar-powered streetlights to the area and pledged to fix the region’s deplorable road network if elected governor.

The Minister further appealed to residents to continue supporting the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, whom he described as a leader deeply committed to the progress and welfare of Nigerians.

Several APC members in attendance reaffirmed their confidence in Adelabu’s leadership and pledged full support for his governorship ambition, expressing optimism that the APC would reclaim Oyo State in 2027.
