According to Ireporter Online, Senate President Godswill Akpabio has playfully queried former Senator representing the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Philip Tanimu Aduda, over what he described as the absence of project commissioning activities during their time in the 8th Senate.

Akpabio made the remark during the inauguration of a project in Abuja, where he reflected on his experience in the National Assembly alongside Aduda, who served as a principal officer and represented the FCT for several years.

He stated that he could not recall attending any project commissioning ceremonies in the FCT during that period, despite Aduda’s influential position at the time.

In a light-hearted tone, the Senate President added that Aduda could be “blamed” for not inviting him to any commissioning events while they both served in the Senate.
