AMVCA 12: BBNaija’s Queen Explains Viral 500-Loaf Bread Dress Choice

According to reports, the reality television personality appeared at the prestigious event in a custom-made gown designed with 500 loaves of bread, a fashion statement that quickly sparked widespread reactions across social media and entertainment circles.

Speaking during an interview with the BBC, Queen Mercy clarified that the outfit was designed by renowned celebrity stylist and fashion entrepreneur Toyin Lawani of Tiannah Empire, noting that she only wore the creation and was not involved in producing it.

She disclosed that the dress took several weeks to complete and described it as one of the most difficult outfits she has ever worn due to its extreme weight. The former BBNaija star revealed that the heavy costume left her with visible injuries on her back and nearly caused severe discomfort around her waist.
