APC Convention: Party Frontline Aspirant Saliu Mustapha’s Posters Flood Benin City(Photos)

Posters of APC frontline national chairmanship aspirant, Mallam Saliu Mustapha have surfaced in Benin City, the  Edo State capital.

Mallam Saliu Mustapha is the Turaki of Ilorin and a strong ally of President Buhari. A former Deputy National Chairman of the defunct Congress for Progressive Change (CPC), Saliu Mustapha once contested for the office of the Governor of Kwara State under the APC.

Our correspondent, however, observed that the posters with Saliu Mustapha’s pictures, APC logo and his chairmanship ambition ahead of the 2022 convention can now be seen at strategic places in Benin City.

Moving around the city on Tuesday morning the posters could be seen in such areas as Uniben Maingate, Ekenwan Road, Oba Palace Road, Airport Road, Military Base, Sapele road, APC State Secretariat, Uselu, Ikpoba Hill and environs.

It was gathered that Saliu Mustapha’s candidacy is currently making inroads as party stakeholders have given the youthful politician the go-ahead to replace the Mai Buni led All Progressives Congress, APC, Caretaker/ Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee (CECPC).

Some of the posters sighted had the inscription “Let’s Bridge The Gap Together And Build Bridges Of Victory For All”

” A Candidate For All”

” Strategic, Visionary, Experienced, Tested and Trusted Team Player”

” Support Saliu Mustapha …Doing It Differently”

According to the sources within the party, the National Congress would hold in February 2022.
