Award For Excellence: Dennis Idahosa Gets House Of Reps Press Corp Award On Monday

House of Representatives Press Corp would on Monday conferred an award of “Excellence for Constituency Development” on the representative of Ovia Federal Constituency, Hon. Dennis Idahosa.

This was made known in a letter jointly signed by the Chairman, House of Representatives press Corp, Grace Ike and Chairman, Award Planning Committee, Philip Nyam.

It stated that the award is in recognition of Idahosa’s outstanding performance as a legislator in the last two years, especially as Chairman of the Legislative Compliance Committee.

According to the letter, “The Press Corps is aware of the many laudable constituency projects you have executed and your closeness to the grassroots.

“The Corps acknowledges your contributions on the floor of the house and your deep knowledge of legislative business and contribution to debates.”

The event is schedule to hold at the International Conference Center, Abuja, with the Speaker, House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila as the guest of honor.
