According to Ireporter Online, ASHA Microfinance Bank recently executed a Clean-A-Market Campaign and Medical Outreach at Oshodi Market, coinciding with the inauguration of its new Mafoluku‑Oshodi Branch. The initiative aligns with Lagos State’s drive to maintain clean, safe, and organized market spaces.

The program commenced with a coordinated Clean-A-Market exercise, bringing together market workers, traders, volunteers, and community leaders to restore order and hygiene across the busy marketplace. Following the cleanup, the bank provided a free medical outreach offering health screenings, consultations, and essential healthcare services to traders and community members.

The unveiling of the Mafoluku-Oshodi Branch marked the event’s highlight, reflecting ASHA Microfinance Bank’s commitment to enhancing customer comfort, convenience, and overall banking experience. Beyond aesthetic appeal, the new branch signifies a strategic investment in service excellence and financial inclusion for traders and small business owners.

“This initiative is more than just a clean market or a medical outreach,” said Funmilola Paseda-Oladoyinbo, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of ASHA Microfinance Bank. “It is a statement of our commitment to people. We are here to support their health, businesses, and quality of life. Community development is central to our mission.”
