The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) G5 governors’ alliance appears to have broken down, as Oyo state governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde has agreed to attend Alhaji Atiku Abubakar’s 2023 presidential campaign kickoff in Oyo State on Thursday.

According to a former minister and close associate of Makinde, after a series of reconciliation talks, Makinde, the only governor seeking reelection among the G-5 governors, has agreed to work with Atiku to unite the PDP in Oyo state.
