BREAKING: Govt Declares Another Public Holiday (SEE DATE)

The Jigawa State Government has officially designated Thursday as a public holiday in observance of the 2023 Eid-el-Maulud celebration.

This announcement was conveyed by the Public Relations Officer of the Office of the Head of Civil Service (HoS) in a statement released to the press on Wednesday.

According to the statement, the State’s Head of Service, Alhaji Muhammad Dagaceri, confirmed that Governor Umar Namadi granted approval for the holiday.

In the statement, Dagaceri encouraged both public servants and the broader Muslim community in the state to approach this occasion with tolerance and devout prayers for peace, harmony, and progress.

Furthermore, the Head of Service urged residents to utilize this period for supplications to seek Allah’s safeguarding and guidance for the leaders responsible for steering the state and the nation as a whole.
