BREAKING: Tinubu Has Given Atiku Appointment (DETAILS)

After initially nominating 28 candidates for ministerial positions, President Bola Tinubu sent an additional 19 names to the Senate for screening.

The Senate President, Godswill Akpabio, read out the names on the Senate floor after screening the first batch of 28 nominees that the President had sent the previous week.

The new list includes four former governors which are former Governors Gboyega Oyetola (Osun), Simon Lalong (Plateau), Bello Matawalle (Zamfara), and Atiku Bagudu (Kebbi).

With the inclusion of these 19 new names, the total number of ministerial nominees now stands at 47, counting the initial 28 names.
