BREAKING: Tinubu, Obasanjo, Jonathan Set To ‘Meet’ (DETAILS)

Olusegun Aganga, a former minister of finance, is preparing to release a book titled “Reclaiming the Jewel of Africa,” which shares his experiences both in and out of government.

The book, which presents a roadmap for transforming Nigeria and Africa from their potential to prosperity, will be launched on July 24 at the Shehu Musa Yar’Adua Centre in Abuja.

The event will have prominent figures in attendance, with President Bola Tinubu serving as the guest of honour, former President Olusegun Obasanjo delivering a keynote address, and former President Goodluck Jonathan chairing the occasion.

Aganga explained that the book contains practical strategies and actionable steps for unlocking Nigeria and Africa’s economic potential, aiming to achieve lasting prosperity.

He expressed his belief in Nigeria’s potential to become one of the world’s greatest and most prosperous countries, as well as his confidence in Africa’s overall path to greatness.

Thabo Mbeki, former president of South Africa, praised the book as a valuable guide for the revival of an outstanding African nation. The foreword of the book was written by Christopher Kolade, Nigeria’s former high commissioner to the United Kingdom.

Aganga, who served as a minister from 2010 to 2015 and held leadership positions in international organizations such as the World Bank and World Trade Organization (MC8), has extensive experience as a chartered accountant and has worked in prominent financial institutions. He is the founder of the Nigeria Leadership Initiative (NLI) and currently serves as the chairman of Leadway Pensure PFA in Nigeria.
