BREAKING: Tragic News As Adamu Is Confirmed Dead

According to family sources, Mato Adamu passed away on Friday evening at the Specialists Hospital in Gombe after a short period of illness.

After his tenure at the BBC, he continued his career as a freelance journalist, contributing to various international media organizations, including Reuters.

Although he hailed from Dambam Local Government Area in Bauchi State, Mato Adamu was based in Gombe State, where he worked as a media consultant.

During Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya’s first term in office, he briefly served as the Chief Media Consultant.

The funeral prayer for Mato Adamu was scheduled to take place on Saturday at 11 am at the Specialists Hospital in Gombe.

He is survived by his wife and children.
