BREAKING: Tribunal Delivers Ruling On Election Of Ahmed Aliyu As Sokoto Governor
The Sokoto State Governorship Elections Petition Tribunal has upheld the election of Ahmed Aliyu as the state governor.

Justice Haruna Msheila, heading the three-man panel, issued the ruling, dismissing the petition filed by the Peoples Democratic Party and its candidate, Saidu Umar. They had contested the governor’s victory in the March 18 poll.
The tribunal stated that the petitioners were unable to substantiate their case convincingly.
