Daniel Bwala, the Special Adviser to President Bola Tinubu on Policy Communication, shared this explanation in a post on his account on Monday. He also accused opposition politicians of spreading misinformation about the situation, claiming that President Tinubu is harming the northern economy.

Bwala assured that President Tinubu is committed to tackling insecurity and dismissed the idea that food importation is responsible for the declining prices.
