CDCFIB Breaks Silence, Shares Fresh Recruitment Update

The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has announced the commencement of the next phase of its 2024/2025 recruitment exercise, with physical screening and document verification set to begin for shortlisted applicants.

According to an official statement issued on Saturday by the Board’s Secretary, Maj.-Gen. Abdulmalik Jibril (retd.), candidates who participated in the Computer-Based Test conducted in November 2025 are expected to visit the official recruitment portal between June 15 and June 20 to confirm their application status.

The statement explained that applicants must log in using the application number generated during their initial registration. Those who are successfully shortlisted will be required to upload the necessary credentials and select their preferred dates and venues for the physical screening exercise.

The Board urged all applicants to strictly adhere to the instructions provided on the recruitment portal, warning that failure to comply could result in disqualification from the exercise.

It also cautioned prospective candidates against falling victim to fraudsters or individuals claiming to possess influence over the recruitment process, stressing that the entire exercise remains free of charge.

“The recruitment process is completely free. No fee should be paid to any individual, agent, group or organisation for any aspect of the exercise,” the statement emphasized.

The CDCFIB further advised members of the public to ignore fake recruitment messages, fraudulent links and unauthorized persons purporting to represent the Board, noting that all authentic updates regarding the recruitment exercise will only be communicated through its official recruitment portal and other approved channels.

The Board reaffirmed its commitment to ensuring a transparent, credible and merit-based recruitment process in line with established guidelines and regulations.
