Church’s Thanksgiving At Risk After Thieves Steal Two Cows Worth ₦1.9 Million

The theft occurred on November 11, just days before the planned event on November 17. The church revealed the incident on its official Facebook page, confirming that the cows, purchased specifically for the celebration, were taken from the church premises.
Despite efforts to recover the stolen animals, the church has yet to succeed. It is now appealing to its congregation and the public for assistance.
The church’s message read, “Dear Celestians and the General Public, these two large cows were stolen from where they were tied at the CCC Testimony Parish in Elerumoke Area, Egbeda, Iyana Ajia. They were intended for slaughter for our 9th adult harvest Thanksgiving this Sunday, November 17, 2024.
“We kindly ask for your prayers for the quick recovery of these materials for our Thanksgiving. If you have any information or ways to assist in making this harvest celebration a success, please contact the parish shepherd.
