Students of the institution, previously known as Anambra State University (ANSU), are depicted fleeing as cult members, both on motorcycles and on foot, wreak havoc.

The videos capture the harrowing sound of gunfire as the clash, reportedly ongoing for days, escalates to a critical point.

In the footage, some of the alleged cultists are seen brandishing firearms and machetes, heightening the sense of danger and fear among witnesses.

According to an eyewitness, the confrontation commenced on Saturday, May 4, and has persisted for several days, plunging the university community into a state of turmoil reminiscent of scenes from a movie.
