Fred Itua, Okpebholo, alongside his deputy Dennis Idahosa, praised Tinubu’s administration during an inspection of the over 30-kilometer stretch, expressing satisfaction with the project’s progress.

The Benin-Sapele-Warri road, a vital artery for economic activities between Edo and Delta States, had long suffered from neglect. However, with the current federal intervention, Okpebholo confidently stated, “Edo is now Lagos,” emphasizing the rapid development mirroring Lagos State’s growth.

The governor commended the contractors for their commitment to constructing a durable road using continuous concrete rigid pavement, which promises a lifespan of up to 50 years. He assured Edo residents that his administration would closely monitor the project’s progress, expressing gratitude to Tinubu for delivering the dividends of democracy to the state.

“This is our president in action. The contractors are making impressive progress, and the federal government’s consistent funding reflects Tinubu’s dedication to Edo’s development,” Okpebholo declared.
