Empathy : Residents Applaud Tinubu, Oshiomhole Over N40 Million Donation To Flood Victims In Edo

“May God be with the donor and the receivers, may God guide and protect us, it shall be well with our soul,” a resident of Illushi in Edo Central Senatorial district prayed after hearing that Adams Aliyu Oshiomhole had just announced a donation of 40 million Naira to flood victims in Edo State.

How it started;

The APC PCC’s deputy director general, Adams Oshiomhole, spent the weekend in Edo North visiting some IDP camps that had been impacted by the flooding.
During the visit, food and relief supplies were given out, and the former governor of Edo State announced that Asiwaju Bola Tinubu had donated 40 million Naira to help those affected by the floods.

During the donation, Adams Oshiomhole was quoted as saying, “Our Presidential candidate Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu sent me to deliver his message and the sum of 40m Naira to share among all those who have been affected by the flood”

Residents have flooded various platforms with comments expressing their gratitude to the APC presidential candidate and Adams Oshiomhole, who represented Tinubu at the event.

“The world would be a better place if everyone could have such empathy and spirit of giving as Tinubu has just done; I sincerely appreciate their sincerity of purpose in finding time and resources from their busy campaign to attend to victims of this natural disaster,” said Bruno Oshioke.

“Tinubu na man e b , Oshimohole na baba , na God go bless them he no easy to get good heart only if every body fit they behave like this.” Momodu.

“I have always known Oshiomhole to be on the side of fairness and equity, a man who serves the people, this act is worthy of our praises, and may God replenish the giver’s pocket.” Karem Ahmed.
