Eniola Ajao Addresses Allegations Regarding Bobrisky Arrest Clarifies Relationship With Crossdresser

Renowned Nollywood actress and film producer Eniola Ajao has distanced herself from any involvement in the arrest of popular crossdresser Idris Okunneye, popularly known as Bobrisky, by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

Bobrisky was later sentenced to six months in prison for abusing the naira at the event. Following his release, he claimed in an Instagram post that receiving the award at Ajao’s event led to his arrest and incarceration.

However, during a recent interview on Oyinmomotv on YouTube, Eniola Ajao firmly refuted these claims, stating that Bobrisky was well aware of the reasons behind his arrest, which were multifaceted.

“I have no issues with Bobrisky; we’re not in conflict. He understands the circumstances surrounding his arrest. There were multiple factors involved,” Ajao said.

She added, “There’s no need to keep explaining things on social media, especially when people are set on believing only what aligns with their narrative. Even during his time in prison, I made efforts to visit and support him.”

Ajao emphasized that their relationship remains intact, noting that abandoning him during such a difficult period would have been inhumane.

“Bobrisky knows our bond, and there was no reason for hostility. Only someone with a wicked heart would turn away from a friend in such circumstances,” she concluded.
