Former Minister Of Agriculture And Natural Resources Is Dead, Buhari Reacts
President Muhammadu Buhari expressed his condolences on the death of Dr Shettima Mustapha, a former Minister of Agriculture and Natural Resources.
Buhari said in a statement issued by his spokesman, Garba Shehu, that the deceased, who was appointed Minister of Defence in the late President Umaru Yar’Adua’s cabinet in 2007, left an indelible record of contribution to national development.

He praised late Mustapha, a former Interior Minister, as an outstanding academic, administrator, and politician.
“The Late Shettima was indomitable, full of life and insightful. He had strong belief in Nigeria’s strength and capabilities. He inspired many generations of Nigerians to believe in our agriculture.
