Galatasaray’s Pursuit Of Victor Osimhen Hits A Dead End As Napoli Closes Negotiations
Napoli’s sporting director, Giovanni Manna, has firmly dismissed any speculation surrounding a permanent transfer of Victor Osimhen to Turkish club Galatasaray. Manna explained that Galatasaray is unable... CONTINUE READING…
to meet the €75 million buyout clause in the striker’s contract, effectively ruling out any negotiations for the time being.
“Our door is closed to negotiations,” Manna stated, emphasizing that the Turkish side does not have the financial resources to meet the clause.
While many clubs have shown interest in Osimhen, who has excelled at Galatasaray since joining on loan in September, Manna made it clear that Napoli is not currently entertaining offers for the Nigerian international.
Osimhen’s impressive performances—scoring eight goals and providing four assists in just nine appearances—have only added to his market value, but Napoli remains firm on its stance.
Reports indicate that Galatasaray may explore a swap deal in place of meeting the release clause.
