High Chief Julius Abuda, (Jagaban) On A Mission To Restore Stolen Mandate
British troops looted thousands of artefacts (Benin Bronzes) from the Benin Kingdom during its invasion in 1897.
Though some of us were not where we are but we, however, grew to hear and some us partake in the repatriation of these stollen artefacts considered culturally and religiously valuable to the kingdom.
This is to say that any injustice done to man remains fresh until such is corrected.
This brings us to the sad event of 2018, the primaries of the All Progressives Congress (APC) where we were brazenly robbed and our mandate was given to an unpopular candidate to fly our party’s flag for the Etsako Federal Constituency seat.
Just like the agitation for the repatriation of the looted artefacts has reached a boiling point and also yielded results, we are asking for the restoration of our stolen mandate in 2018.
