I Just Want To Live: Adekunle Gold Explains Why He Stays Out Of Trouble
According to Ireporter Online, Nigerian singer Adekunle Kosoko, popularly known as Adekunle Gold, has revealed why he prefers to avoid conflict and lead a peaceful life. In a video shared on social media on Thursday, the Orente hitmaker explained that he intentionally steers clear of trouble to maintain a calm and steady lifestyle.
Adekunle Gold emphasized that he understands his own temperament and recognizes that he may say things in the heat of the moment that he could later regret. To prevent such situations, he often removes himself from arguments before they escalate.
The father of two clarified that avoiding conflict does not imply weakness or inability to defend himself when necessary. Rather, he values peace of mind more than engaging in drama or disputes.
He also questioned why some individuals seem drawn to conflict instead of seeking calm and personal rest. “Some of us, we just don’t like trouble. In fact, I don’t want to be near it, I just want to live,” he said. He added, “Me, I know myself. My mouth is not good at all…so I’d rather just step away.” Adekunle Gold urged others to consider the benefits of walking away for personal peace and growth.
