“I Live With Guilt Daily – Cubana Chiefpriest Opens Up On Late Mother’s Wish”

Celebrity barman and socialite, Pascal Okechukwu, popularly known as Cubana Chief Priest, has opened up about his childhood, his late mother’s wishes, and how her passing reshaped his life. According to Ireporter Online, the businessman shared in a lengthy Instagram post that his mother waited for over six years before giving birth to his elder brother, Onyinyechukwu, meaning “Gift from God.” A little over a year later, she had him after a complicated delivery and named him Chibuike, which translates to “God is my strength.”

Cubana Chief Priest revealed that his mother had promised God that if blessed with a child, he would serve as a Catholic priest. Driven by her desire, he attempted to pursue seminary training but was unable to complete the path to priesthood. Reflecting on his journey, he admitted that next year will mark ten years since his mother’s death, a loss that drastically changed the course of his life in terms of family, career, and wealth.

He confessed that he still struggles with guilt for not fulfilling her dream of seeing him become a priest, saying she longed to be called “Mama Father.” However, he maintained that he continues to serve God in his own way. To honour her memory, he disclosed that he has recorded a Catholic thanksgiving song produced by Masterkraft and featuring rapper Zoro, which he plans to release soon.
