Ronaldo’s brace brought his tally to 35 league goals in just 31 games, setting a new record for the highest number of goals scored in a single season in the history of the Saudi Pro League. This accomplishment makes Ronaldo the first player in professional football history to finish a league season as the highest goalscorer in four different leagues worldwide.
