JUST IN: Emefiele Gone? – Buhari Forward Names To Senate For Confirmation For Key Position In CBN
President Muhammadu Buhari has recommended Aisha Ahmed and Edward Adamu for confirmation as deputy governors of the Central Bank of Nigeria to the Senate (CBN).
President Buhari’s request is contained in a letter read aloud on the Senate floor by Senate President Ahmad Lawan during Tuesday’s plenary.

The Nigerian president has asked the Senate to confirm the nominees for a second and final term as deputy governors of the apex bank.
In another letter, President Buhari requests that the Upper Chamber confirm Ambassador Ayuba Jacob’s appointment to the Revenue Mobilisation Allocation and Fiscal Commission.
