JUST IN: Gunmen Kidnap Another Traditional Ruler
A traditional ruler, Magaji Erubu in the Ilorin Emirate of Kwara State, Zubair Folorunsho Erubu, has been kidnapped by some gunmen.
The monarch was abducted on Thursday night when he ran into an ambush while he was going to Afon in the Asa Local Government Area of the state.
The head of Magajis and Alanguas in the Emirate, Alhaji Saliu Woru, has reacted to the abduction, saying more needs to be done by the various governments to check kidnapping.

Woru asked the governments to seek the assistance of traditional rulers to stop the menace.
The state police spokesperson, Okasanmi Ajayi, confirmed the abduction on Friday, saying an investigation had commenced into the incident.
