Kylian Mbappe and Harry Kane emerged as joint-highest goalscorers of the 2023-2024 UEFA Champions League season despite their teams’ exits in the semi-final stage.
Both forwards notched an impressive eight goals each, showcasing their prolific scoring prowess throughout the campaign. Mbappe’s Paris Saint-Germain journey was cut short by Borussia Dortmund, who proved too strong in the semi-finals, while Kane’s Bayern Munich faced defeat at the hands of eventual champions Real Madrid.
Borussia Dortmund, despite their dominant performance against PSG, faltered in the final, succumbing to a 2-0 defeat against Real Madrid at Wembley Stadium on June 1.
Real Madrid’s triumph over Bayern Munich in the semi-finals propelled them to the ultimate glory, with Vinicius Junior, a contender for the 2024 Ballon d’Or, contributing six goals to their successful campaign, including one in the final.
