Nigerian Afrobeats sensation Zlatan Ibile has publicly apologized to fellow music star Seyi Vibez following a social media disagreement that sparked reactions among fans earlier this week.

According to entertainment reports, the tension between both artistes began on May 26 after Seyi Vibez accused Zlatan of taking subtle shots at his Fuji Moto project. The allegation was reportedly connected to certain ad-libs featured on Adekunle Gold’s track, Life of the Faaji, which Seyi Vibez believed were aimed at him.

The situation quickly escalated online as Seyi Vibez responded with remarks describing Zlatan as a backup artiste while also making comments about the rapper’s clothing brand, further fueling the exchange between both camps.

Reacting to the controversy, Zlatan took to his social media platform to clear the air, insisting that the entire issue stemmed from a misunderstanding. The rapper expressed sadness that Seyi Vibez felt offended and maintained that there was never any intention to disrespect him.

Zlatan further emphasized that he still regards Seyi Vibez as a brother and remains willing to resolve the disagreement peacefully whenever both parties decide to have a conversation.

In his words, the singer stated that it hurt him to think Seyi Vibez believed he would intentionally disrespect him, adding that the situation was purely a misunderstanding and reaffirming that there is still love between them.
