Nigerians React As President Tinubu Orders Immediate Suspension Of 0.5% Cybersecurity Levy On Electronic Banking Transactions (Full Details)
President Bola Tinubu has officially suspended the controversial 0.5% cybersecurity levy on electronic banking transactions.
This decision was communicated by the Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, who stated that President Tinubu ordered the suspension after discussions during the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting.
Idris made this announcement at the State House in Abuja on Tuesday, following the conclusion of the FEC meeting.
