As gas prices fluctuate, experts suggest practical tips to help households make the most of their cooking gas:
- Use Lids While Cooking: Covering pots retains heat, allowing food to cook faster and conserving gas.
- Avoid High Flames: Lower flames are more efficient and waste less gas.
- Regular Burner Maintenance: Clean burners and regulators for better efficiency.
- Pre-Preparation: Preparing all ingredients in advance reduces gas consumption.
- Cook in Bulk: Cooking larger meals at once reduces the need to use gas repeatedly.
