Norwegian-Nigerian Star Tolou Shines In Lagos In New ‘Body’ Video

According to Ireporter Online, Norwegian-Nigerian singer Tolou has unveiled the official video for her latest single, Body. The track, penned by Theron Thomas and produced by Tricky Stewart, serves as the final release from her debut album, Energy.

Filmed in Lagos, the video highlights the singer’s deep connection to her Nigerian heritage while complementing the song’s celebratory and vibrant tone. Tolou, born in Tromsø, Norway, describes her sound as Afro-Scandi Pop, blending Nordic melodies with African rhythms.

“My music is shaped by both Arctic stillness and African rhythm,” she explained, noting that her work merges the cool tones of Norway with the energetic pulse of Nigeria. Three years ago, a transformative trip to Nigeria inspired her hit single Coco, cementing her presence in the music industry.

Tolou’s musical journey began in a youth church choir, eventually catching the attention of acclaimed rapper Wyclef Jean, who invited her to perform at his concert—a moment she regards as the launch of her professional career.
